Finding the right path did not come easily early on. Growing up, I tried several sports including baseball, basketball, golf, and karate, but nothing truly resonated. That changed in my freshman year of high school when I discovered wrestling and developed a passion for grappling that would shape my life.
After the wrestling season ended, I began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2011 under Casey Oxendine. What started as a way to stay on the mat quickly became a lifelong commitment. In 2022, I earned my black belt under Casey Oxendine and have gained extensive competition experience at IBJJF and ADCC events.
Alongside jiu-jitsu, I have trained in judo on and off for more than 10 years. I hold a green belt under 7th Dan Brian Rowe and have achieved significant competitive success, including being the 2018 Tennessee Judo State Champion and the 2025 North Carolina State Champion.
I founded Camp Creek Kombat to help others grow through martial arts while building a team grounded in discipline, accountability, and perseverance. The gym is not just a place to train, it is a community focused on developing confident, capable individuals both on and off the mat.
